Hello! Database: Ai no Tane

Ai no Tane was not really a single released by Morning Musume, but instead the single was released prior to forming the actual group. The single was a challenge for five finalists of the original audition to sell 50 000 copies in order for Tsunku to become their producer.

In four days the required 50 000 copies had ben sold and the actual group was then created.

The original single did not have a b-side track, but the song Ai no Tane was included on the Morning Coffee single as well as on the album First Time. The song eventually found its way to Best Morning Musume 1 also.
