3rd StationThis Album was released by Maki Goto on 2005-2-23 Review:
- Ekizo Disco: Not quite what I would've have expected as a Maki song; quite catchy, but, well, very different.
- Sayonara Tomodachi nowa Naritakunai no: From a single; IMO one of Maki's best songs ever; the singing and song as such are both excellent.
- Yokohama Shinkirou: Another single song; while not bad as such, not one of her best songs either.
- Singapore Transit: A good song; doesn't stand out in any way -- not in god, nor in bad.
- Riakai! Koufuku: Surprisingly energetic; a nice change
- Watarasebashi (Goto Version): Aya Matsuura cover; this song really suits Maki; excellent choice despite being a cover.
- Positive Genki!: The song lives up to its name. An excellent song
- Sayonara no Love Song: A single song; One of the slower songs of the album; quite good in fact.
- Renai Sentai Shitsu Ranger: Nochiura Natsumi cover; while not a bad s such, I suppose the original 3-person group's version is superior.
- Station: A solid good song.
- 19Sai no Hitorigoto: A very beautiful slowish song.
Overall:
The amount of completely new songs is somewhat disappointing -- 11 songs, of which 2 are (H!P) covers and 3 are her old singles leaving only 6 new songs. Overall the album is still quite good -- the singles songs are good and the new songs aren't bad either. Definately one of the best things Maki has done!
