Hello! Database: Rika Ishikawa

Rika is one of the fourth generation members of Morning Musume, and as such she joined the group in 2000. She is cheerful and quite energetic, despite her asthma. Most people concider her one of the worst singers in the group, although she did have a major role in the single The Peace and she has had relatively big roles in other songs as well. She is also one of the lead singers of Otome Gumi.

Rika joined Tanpopo at one point and was the only one of its members to make it through subgroup shuffling of 2002. Since then she has been the leader of the group. For a period of two years she was was loaned to Country Musume. In summer of 2004 she and Sayumi Michishige were the two members of Ecomoni.

Rika will be graduation from Morning Musume in May 7th, 2005. Presumably in preparation of that, she has with Erika Miyoshi and Yui Okada formed the group Biyuuden. Osaka Koi no Uta was be her last momusu single.
