This is an information database about Hello! Project, especially about Morning Musume.
| Kei Yasuda | | | Kei joined Morning Musume as a part of the second generation in 1998. She was a good dancer and a strong vocalist. Especially until Maki Goto joined she was one of the lead vocalists along with Natsumi Abe. After Maki joined the two of them, along with Sayaka Ichii formed Pucchi Moni. This, on the other hand, reduced Kei's role in Morning Musume to a much lesser one, and she rarely was seen in spotlight since.
Kei has had the burden of being referred to as the ugly one and she is one of the least popular Musumes. This was also a running joke in shows such as Utaban.
Kei graduated from Morning Musume in May 5th 2003, at the last concert of Non-stop tour. After that she has done projects with former Musumes and other Hello! Project groups.
After her graduation she has also been the host of Hello! Morning, and after that ended she has still been doing that whenever the successor, Natsumi Abe hasn't been available. Kei is the only relatively recent Morning Musume graduate not to have a career as a solo artist.
