Hello! Database: Morning Musume, 7th Generation

Original "Lucky 7 Audition" for the 7th generation produced no members; this page is about the actual 7th generation.

Shorly after the disaster that was Lucky 7 Audition, another set of auditions was started, with somewhat lower expectations. It was expected that possibly 3 or 4 new members would be added to the group.

In the end it turned out to be the case, that this time only one of the finalists was deemed to be of sufficient quality and in May 1st, 2005, the girl named Koharu Kusumi had her dream made reality, as she entered Morning Musume as a new member.
