Hello! Database: Nozomi Tsuji

The fourth generation audition was originally planned to produce three members, but seeing Tsuji's potential Tsunku decided to pick her as the fourth new member. Those not familiar with the group have often had difficulties differentiating between Tsuji and Ai Kago, especially with older videos. This is credited to them not only looking quite the same, but also behaving quite the same. They are often seen together, though, so there is often possibility to compare them.

Recently their styles have become quite distinct of each other, although being the two members of W has caused their clothes to be more or less identical on many occasions.

In any event, Nozomi is generally considered to be one of the cutest members of Morning Musume. One of her unique features has been her "fangs", although that is no longer the case as they were "normalized" in late 2004.

Along with Ai Kago and Mari Yaguchi, Nozomi is one of the original members of the subgroup Mini Moni. Both Tsuji and Kago graduated from Morning Musume in August, after which they will remain in Hello! Project as members of their own group, W.
