Hello! Database: Mika Todd

Mika is was of the original members of Coconuts Musume and until she left, she was, along with Ayaka Kimura, one of the two remaining members.

In addition to that, Mika became a member of Mini Moni and when Mari Yaguchi left the group Mika became its leader.

Mika left Hello! Project and entire Japan in April in order to go to Los Angeles to learn more about music.

Mika's mother is Japanese and her father is an Australian jazz pianist and she herself was born in Hawaii. Now that Mika is in America, the family really is international. She also has three older siblings.

Mika got interested in singing when she was in middle school. She sang at school festival and when she was in high school she and other members of Coconuts Musume were discovered by Makoto (Sharan Q). Back when she debuted her skill in Japanese were limited, although she was practically fluent by the time she left the Hello! Project.
