Hello! Database: Tanpopo

Tanpopo in its original configuration was the first subgroup to be formed in Hello! Project. While the members have been shuffled multiple times, the style of showing the softer side of Morning Musume remains, albeit there has been quite a lot of variety in the songs.

The first single of Tanpopo, Last Kiss, was the ending them of anime Sorcerous Stabber Orphen.

When Aya Ishiguro left, Mari Yaguchi and Kaori Iida kept the group alive and in summer of 2000 Ai Kago and Rika Ishikawa joined the group. Otome Pasta ni Kando was the first single of this configuration and their music became somewhat more energetic at the same time.

In 2002 the group was changed again. Only Rika Ishikawa remained and in addition to her the group consisted of Asami Konno, Risa Niigaki and Ayumi Shibata of Melon Kinenbi.
